What the customer reported

Part of the cooktop worked normally and part of it would not light at all. When some burners are fine, the gas supply and the module are both doing their job — the fault is local to the burners that are out.

What we found

With the top lifted, the electrodes on the affected burners were not producing a usable spark. The working burners confirmed the module was still driving the circuit properly.

What we did

Replaced the failed spark electrodes, checked the gap on every burner while the top was open, and tested light-off across the whole cooktop.

Why this happens

Electrodes sit right in the spill path. Cleaning fixes some of them; the ones that have been soaked repeatedly crack at the ceramic and need replacing. Doing them with the top already open costs almost nothing extra.
