What the customer reported
The oven still worked, it just took far too long to get there — the complaint people put off for months because nothing is technically broken.
What we found
We ran the ignition system as a whole rather than swapping the obvious part: how much current the igniters drew, how the valve responded and how long it took to light. The igniters were the component out of spec.
What we did
Replaced the igniters and timed the light again from cold to confirm the oven now reaches temperature in a normal time.
Why this happens
Slow heating is the early stage of the same failure that later shows up as a gas smell or no ignition at all. Fixing it at the slow-heating stage is a routine visit; leaving it turns it into an urgent one.
