What the customer reported

No response from the oven whatsoever. Nothing on the panel, no heat, no fan — the kind of total silence that could be anything from a tripped breaker to a dead board.

What we found

Power was present at the appliance, so the supply was ruled out first. With the control panel removed, the board showed no output on any circuit despite being live on the input side.

What we did

Replaced the control board, reassembled the panel, and tested bake, broil and the cooktop controls before leaving.

Why this happens

On a compact range everything is packed tightly behind the panel, and the board sits close to the heat. That proximity is what shortens its life relative to the same board in a full-width range.
