What we found
The drain line was blocked. Defrost water had nowhere to go, which is what puts moisture into the cabinet and eventually into the joinery around it.
What we did
Cleared and flushed the drain line, then verified drainage through a defrost cycle rather than assuming a clear line stays clear.
Why this happens
This is the cheapest job on this page and the one that prevents the most expensive damage. On a wine unit built into millwork, a blocked drain quietly ruins the cabinet long before it ruins the appliance.
