What the customer reported
A noise that got worse the longer the range ran. Noise complaints are easy to postpone, and this is the one where postponing costs more than fixing.
What we found
The cooling fan was the source. Reaching it meant lifting the cooktop and working down into the range — the second photo shows the failed fan out of the appliance.

What we did
Replaced the cooling fan, checked the surrounding wiring while the range was open, and ran the appliance up to temperature to confirm the noise was gone and the fan was moving air properly.
Why this happens
The cooling fan is what keeps heat away from the electronics behind the fascia. When it fails, the range stays usable and the board behind it starts cooking — which is how a fan job turns into a board job if it waits.
